Post box collection times

Even when they did have the collection times on them I learnt as a child they could be collected up to an hour later.

They also won't sort it until Monday.

If you really want to ensure your parcel goes by first class then you need to post it a post office, main or sub, as they have at least 2 collections a day. (The sub-post office near me has 3).

I could take it to the massive supermarket complex a few miles away, but it is not quite that important. Suppose, I am having a rant about poor communication as much as poor post after walking around the estate for half an hour with the same time on all the post boxes, late Monday! Perhaps they don't wish to be committed to a collection until 5pm Monday?
