in Credit cards
Hello,
I've always had credit cards etc. in my name and we decided we'd try and get her a cc to help improve her own credit history.
So we decided she'd use her own card every month and then pay it off in full. We just got her card and it has a £260 credit limit. How long will it be before they raise her limit?

Depending on how she runs the account anything as early as 6 months before they consider a increase request.0

If the purpose of having the card is purely to improve her credit record why the desire for a credit limit increase?
About £100 of everyday spending each month, paid off in full and on time will show responsible card usage and achieve the desired result.0
