back in 2005 i took out a secured loan (stupidly) with welcome fianance they were an awfulcompany to deal with and not very helpfull anyway the loan was for 15000 against my property then in 2006 i payed it off in full with help which was aprox 25000 , now last year year i dun a ppi claim against them and won 2300 but i think this is such a low amount for a large loan at the time i was very niave and desp neede the cash i dont want to come across greedy but can you put another ppi claim in as i think it shud be more or is this the roughly rite amount on the amount i borrowed am really confused and dont no who to ask pls help thanks

I am not sure if this can be done, maybe someone will clarify, but did you try challenging this at the time then?
However, maybe no harm done in writing to them, but the issue now is you would have to go through the Financial Compensation Scheme (FSCS) because Welcome are in default and all reclaims are being dealt with through them, more info below.

You could contact the FSCS, give them a ring and tell them you feel you should have been refunded more and not enough to what you were entitled to was given to you, no harm in trying I suppose, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

You only paid this ppi for 12 months,so the 2.300 may have been the ppi and interest,when you settled the loan did you get a rebate of ppi?.0
