help setting up iphone to send email

hello, i sem to have set my iphone to recieve emails, but i cant send any and i am not really sure how to do it! thank you

Depends on the e-mail provider, if it is your own ISPs e-mail then they may not allow mail to be sent unless you are connected via broadband.

its an hotmail account, it tells me to sort the settings but i cant see what i have to do! would have thought hotmail would have worked ok

set hotmail up using these settings, might be easier to remove the account first then re add it, as you can see on iOS5 it's dead simple just tap the hotmail button when adding an account, otherwise use exchange.

thank you, i think it is set now,removed the original ios5 is much easier :-)
