If they get lots of negative feedback it will give them an order defect rate but it's a percentage of total orders so if they are a very large seller it probably won't affect them much.As of midday today.... a flood of emails cancelling my orders.

You beat me to it, at least in terms of the update. At the end of the day, it was a mistake and I certainly don't bear them any grudge. After all, we've all made mistakes, well I have anyway.:(
It was fun while it lasted but I guess that it proves the old adage 'If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is'.0 -
I don't mean them any harm. I'm a bit disappointed, but as you say it really was too good to be true.
The only thing I would say is that I'm a marketplace seller / eBay powerseller, and I walk a daily tightrope keeping my 100% feedback - if I cancelled even 3 or 4 orders it would impact on my profile.
Believe it or not I used to know the man behind these 2 firms. He's had a very long and interesting career in the book trade.0 -
