EXPIRED Amazon Marketplace Bargains

Hi,
Hope that I'm posting this in the right place.
A couple of marketplace sellers on Amazon - 'gb_books-uk' and 'paperbackshop1' - are selling what to me appear to be some incredible bargains.
I've just bought around thirty items, for either 1 or 16p, plus £2.80 postage, of course.
I know that it's normal to find items for 1p on Amazon but these are not the usual books or audio CDs that sell at that price. For example, one book that I've had on my watchlist for a while, usually retails at £114 and I managed to get it for 16p. It's no longer available from the seller at that price and the cheapest available copy is now £75. Other items do still seem to be available, however.
I've checked with Amazon because initially I thought that it was an error in their system but so far, they have told me that everything is in order. If it is, Christmas has definitely come early for me and a lot of my family!
I will post back if it really is too good to be true but otherwise I hope that others can benefit.

Thanks for that. I have used them before, however, without a problem and I note that the discussion dates from January 2010. I think that if they were dishonest, Amazon would have banned them by now.
I'm not sure if you can search by marketplace seller but if you know what you want to buy, just search for this and then hopefully one of these sellers will be at the top of the list for 'used and new' just below Amazon's own price.
I am still waiting to get a message back, saying that a mistake has been made but in the meantime, I've ordered a year's worth of books in just a couple of hours!
Just as an example, here are a couple of current links for a book that I bought for 16p and which normally retails for £55 and an audiobook, which normally retails for £27. At the time of posting, both were still available for 16p and 1p respectively. Perhaps, they're just having a clearout but I regularly use Amazon and have never seen these kind of reductions before.

No chance of that happening, at the end of the day if they are dishonest or not they are still making Amazon money.
I've personally never shopped with this seller so have no idea if the reviews are correct or not etc but as a rule of thumb if there are reviews out there saying they are dishonest and you are best to avoid the seller IMO your best bet would be to do just that and buy from a different seller.0 -
I appreciate the caution but both sellers have around 20,000 mostly positive ratings on Amazon. Anyway, if anything does go wrong, Amazon has its marketplace refund guarantee.
Sorry if I sound like a cheerleader for both Amazon and the two sellers. I can assure you that I have links with none of them, other then being a regular buyer from Amazon and having used both sellers previously.
As noted, my only concern is that there has been an error made by the system or by the sellers, which will ultimately negate the sales.0 -
Just a note that 'gb_books-uk' are based in the US so it will take some time for the stuff to arrive.0

I can see some books that are shown as having £0.16 options, but when click on it there isn't anything at that price.0

I've tried adding about 20 books to my basket, and every single one it says is no longer available. I also can't for the life of me work out how to view a whole inventory of either shop.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
how odd, one of my vet nursing books was showing for 16p when it's usually about £25-£30. i didn't end up going for it though as it was based in illinois, so went for the next cheapest at £16 from amazon warehouse. Now the 16p one has disappeared and this isn't really a hugely common book, so seems very scammy to me?0
