just sorting through some paperwork & found the EF brochure. it is polished, i'll give them that. but i'd rather buy a piece of land & plant my own trees here in England.0

Polished brochure and 'ethical forestry' are a bit of an oxymoron in 2013, and if you understand where paper comes from. Enough reason for me to give outfits like that a very wide berth. But I a generally not easy to impress by marketing and sales bumph.0 -
nor am i archi, and i agree
i like the idea of it very much. but won't be investing via Ethical Forestry0 -

If people are genuinely wanting to look at investments, then do your due diligence. I have invested in Ethical Forestry and have visited their offices in Bournemouth as part of my own investigation. I bombarded them with questions and got honest answers. I went away and did more research and it was right for me. Mike was very helpful, didn't give me the usual salesman rubbish and explained exactly how it all worked and how it can help me boost my future finances. The returns are realistic and based on fact and that worked for me. I like the ethical side but in all honesty and call me shallow, but it was about the returns. Ok, so it isn't the quickest investment and 12 years can seem like a long time but I get returns throughout the period and if I want to get out, then I can. Instead of trying to second guess, give them a call or go see them. Oh and before you make snap judgement comments, at least get your facts in order first! simples!
Jackanory as I live and breathe.
Proof positive this is a scam.
Only invest money you would otherwise be happy to set fire to!!0 -

Some facts? How about reading all the other threads on here where people have put their hard earned savings into these sure fire Unregulated schemes only to find they've lost the lot.
Why would you take that risk when you can get 5% guaranteed in bank or use proper investment funds that are protected?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Poor boy is in for a shock when he wants his money back. Still, he may be one of the lucky ones that gets out early and there are enough mugs still putting money in to pay for those leaving.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
