    It's a skill. I use the force.

(Do you know what a "blindspot" is?)

Of course I do. But your comment was in reference to a hypothetical deliberate action which you made absolutely no attempt to distance yourself from when replying.

If you want to try to pass me on the nearside, when I move back in, yes, I'll wipe you out, if you're expecting me to check, and then you may be in my blindspot anyway.
Golden rule, don't expect me to check for undertakers, ever.

I'll be using the force again then?

Definitely some rather silly bravado present here.

Trying to argue that two wrongs make a right never ends well. If applied to a road scenario people get hurt.

Your post implied that you would do it on purpose, which means you knew they were there, perhaps by doing a proper blindspot check before moving to the left.

Nope, I'm a lazy b*stard, but you're depending on me to see you, and avoid you, and you're the more skilled one?

Unless what you actually mean is you'd do it deliberately. In which case you're just filth.

If your driving depends on me checking, I reckon you're worse.

    Seems fairly clear to me.

Had an interesting one on the new M4 HADECS installation recently (more than 14 days ago)

As well as the gantry signs that change the speed limit, the normal left lane matrix signs are also capable of displaying red circles and thus displaying the speed limit.

So pass under a HADECS gantry displaying 40 over every lane, the matrix sign further down the road is displaying 40, then it changes to 60.

I do not wait until I have passed that sign I speed up to 60 and the person I was alongside seems to take offence to this as they start flashing at me.

Now, my argument is that these single signs are not speed limit changing signs as there must be at least two, at the start of a new speed limit, a single sign can only be a repeater.

If they are a repeater, that means that the previous HADECS gantry must have also changed to 60, therefore the bit of road I was on at the time must now be subject to a 60 limit, therefore I will accelerate to 60.

    Agree/disagree?
These signs are actually enforcement cameras, so if you speed up early and you pass a 2nd or 3rd quicker than it thinks you should you may get a letter in next 14 days. There is no flash, it does it all by algorthymn and DVLA links etc. direct to the Home Office Scientific and Development Branch (HOSDB). Hopefully you will not get one this time. But you need to be aware.

So in other words you admit your driving is crap?

Oh but Lum's is too, so I'll stay on that high horse.

    What a crock.

You base your driving on Star Wars?

That's the problem you'll have, if you need to depend on me to miss you. If I'm crap, your chance of an accident is down to my level of drivng.
And that's always been the answer from all the skilled motorists on here. No matter where you put yourself, with all your great skills, at the end of the day, all us crap ones have to miss you.
