  • Morning All,

Its been a pretty cold miserable day here. Not that I would really know though. I have done nothing productive all day. I have just spent the day moping around and feeling rather sorry for myself. I know break-ups take time to heal, but I just wish I could skip the next few months and get there already. It really is lonely being on the other side of the world without anyone to talk to or give you a hug.:(

I suppose at least I haven't gone out and spent loads of money, which is usually what happens over the weekend.

I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.

    Morning everyone,

It is a bit damp here this morning but not actually raining which is good as I am going to spend the morning stood on a netball court watching DD2 play netball. I then have to rush her back for her ballet lesson, she does have a busy time.

DS and DD1 are still in bed and OH has gone out on his bike in full lycra, he must give the neighbours a giggle.

Must get some food shopping done today, I filled up all the cupboards and the fridge last week and it has all gone again.

Hugs to Lou, Findingmyway, Taplady, Cat and anyone else that I have missed.
Keep trying to eat something Lou, remember, baby steps.

Probably mince and dumplings for tea tonight.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

Morning everyone, i had a better nights sleep last night as my youngest slept through bless him, my eldest woke a couple of times though but hubby got up to see to him to let me sleep. I returned the favour by letting him have a lie in this morning while the boys got me up at half 5.

Going to try and get to grips with meal planning for the first time today, don't really know where to start but wish me luck!

Hope everyone has a happy day and a good weekend xx

  • Damp grey and a cold mizzle falling,I shall wrap up warm whan I go off to Welling in London to see my friend at her quilting exhibition.I have a pile of books to take with me that i have read and will pass on,she then passes them on herself.I am hoping to be home before night as I'm not keen on the motorway when its foggy, plus I have quite a bit of baking to do for the family 'do' tomorrow afternoon.Hope everyone has a good day,in fact a good weekend. The weeks are whizzing by and I have such a lot to organise before Christmas I have four family birthdays in December before I start on Christmas.Still its good to be busy I suppose.
Well time to get a wriggle on

  • Morning all and to those who follow. It's a grey start to the day here that I'm hoping will improve a bit. Not sure what the weather is supposed to do, but I'd like to get the windows opened to give the house a bit of an airing. Woke up this morning not really able to put much weight through my heel though so that will curtail plans a bit :( I must have jarred it yesterday for I felt it twinging last night and now on waking it's aching and just a bit of a nightmare. That, with another couple of things have been getting me down lately so I haven't felt I should post as I didn't want to be too negative. Anyway, shall be doing my mealplans today and getting organised (as organised as possible) for Christmas. Got to sort out my present cupboard and see what I've got, not got and got to get, etc. Enough to keep me occupied.

    Have a good day everyone

    Morning morning,

I feel a little delicate today, OH finished the season yesterday, so we went out for drinks to cheer him up as he's sulking now, he's got a slurry job next week and a digger job to finish, but it's the same as driving a forager apparently!

Just put another load in the machine, having a cuppa before i tackle the house work, then will have a bath. I'm going to my friends house later, he's supplying the wine and pizza so i couldn't refuse! He also wants to go for a roast tomorrow, but i don't think that will happen!

OH is still in bed, i thought he had to be at work at 8...the joys of being self employed i guess!!

Flutterby - good to hear from you, the wedding sounds amazing!

Findingmyway- hugs to you, break ups suck, but you will get there!

Bit grey here but dry, WM is on and I'll stick it out on the line in a mo.

Big hugs to all struggling at the mo.

Have got work for the next 2 nights so need to get organised for that. My fence has blown down as well so I need to mend that. House is fairly tidy, just have a huge mound of paperwork to sort through. Tea is LO fish pie yum, yum.

    Have a good day all

    Morning all,

Slept in till 8.30 which was bliss, this week seems to have gone on and on, dd is still in bed, I am going to leave her for a while, she has not had a day off (with one thing and another) for 10 days, so will let her rest.

We are off to a jumble sale later :T we love them, dd is like a thing posessed :rotfl:, its a bit like a rugby scrum, but we do come away with some bargains :T

We have our 'free' from sainsbugs duck breasts tonight, I was going to do some garlic roasted veg with them, any suggestions for what spuds to do ?

Need to hoover through downstairs, wm is doing its thing, and as its a beautiful day here I will get it on the line. A general clean through should do today.

The shop in the next village had pringles for sale at £1 a tube the other day, so I might pop in and stock up for xmas, will have to hide them from OH though :rotfl:

Hugs to Tappers, hope work is not too bad xx

Lou, how are you today ? whats that lovely lad of yours up to ? xx

Cat, hugs to you hun xx

    Have good days all xx

Morning all. It's a glorious day here, warm and sunny, not very inspiring when trying to think about Christmas.

Tomorrow being Remembrance Sunday is going to be hectic and goodness knows if we will have time to sit down and eat anything so we are going to have our Sunday roast today. I will take one of the packets of beef slices from the freezer and do lots of veg. Think I will also make a cauliflower cheese so if we do get 10 mins tomorrow we can have some of that with a roll.

    Love and hugs to all.

  • Morning everyone.

Slept til 8am this morning, DS was at a sleepover at grannies last night. We are trying to schedule some more one to one time with my parents as he's been funny about them lately. Feels weird without him being here but kinda nice with just DD. no bickering which is lovely :rotfl:
Was gonna go on leaf picking duty but it's too wet. Might sit and finish my felt gingerbread men that have been hanging around for ages :o
Might have a friend and her kids coming round which will be nice ad haven't seen her for ages.

Tea will be pizza and maybe HM chicken burger and HM wedges for me and H.

Flutterby wow how quick has your holiday gone!! Wedding and holiday pics look lovely :)

Finding yeah I know it's not quite the same but talk to us :)

Cat smith, Tappers, Lou hugs to you xx

Hugs and spoons all round. Have a good day OS or not.
