Hi,
Just thought I'd add, that I have just signed up via the energy helpline (£15 cashback). I also done this through top cashback (£14.42 cashback):-
It also stated on my confirmation:-
Direct Debit discount of £52.50 per year for gas and £42 for electricity. Dual fuel discount of £10.50 per year. Total discount of £105 per year.

So another £105.00 after 12 months.
Just a few points to consider :-)0 -
Aye thats right most places offer a small % based discount if you pay via DD.
Whod you sign up with?
Looking at NPower and Scottish Power at the moment.
According to uSwitch Ill save £111.59 going with nPower or £156.14 on Scottish Power.
42.42 cashback with Scottish power but 92 cashback for nPower
So those 2 are looking pretty similar atm, thast the gofix8 tariff and Online Fixed Price Energy January 2013.
I'm currently with SSE on their Standard Domestic0 -
scottishpower are terrible at paying out the cashback, npower are slow about 6-8 months.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

....and so i followed your lead but although i can see the top cashback part, i can see no mention of my energy helpline cashback on the confirmation. Where do i look?Smile though your bank is breaking:)0 -
is it worth switching to Npower though? I've been tempted by this offer too but after reading the reviews on Npower not quite sure now (reviews here http://www.ciao.co.uk/Reviews/Npower__60333/Start/60, http://www.moneysupermarket.com/c/utilities/suppliers/npower/reviews/8/1/2/1/0/). It appears that they set up low monthly price like £30-50 a month, but then 7-8 months later send you a £400 bill stating that you haven't been paying enough, so would be nice to hear other people's opinions, and probably those who might have had better experience with Npower....appreciate your views....thanks...0

How much will you receive?- £15 for a gas and electricity, single gas, single electricity or home phone switch. If you apply for broadband or a bundled broadband and home phone package via our call centre you will also receive £15.
- £30 if you switch gas to one supplier and your electricity to another supplier.
- N.B. If you do two single switches to the same supplier we will only make one payment of £15 - sorry!
- £60 can be achieved by switching your energy to two different providers, switching your home phone and applying for broadband through our call centre... If you have multiple homes you can make even more!
When will you receive the money?
We will typically pay your cashback within 90 days of your switch going live with your new supplier. In order to pay your cashback we require reporting from your new supplier. Occasionally this can take longer than normal and in these exceptional circumstances it can take a littlle longer for you to get paid.
How will you receive the money?
If you switch to a direct debit tariff we will send it straight to your bank account. If you switch to a different payment method we will send you a cheque. If you are checking your bank statement, the BACs payment will be labelled EnergyHelpline or FirstHelpline Cashback and it will come from our holding company's bank account (Fundraising Innovations Ltd).
Hopefully we should get it0 -
Has the £100 vouchers offer been pulled? - Can't seem to see it on their website now.
Was looking at getting this and also £92 cashback via TopCashback.
If it is still available can someone point me in the right direction plz0 -
