The market is always quiet post xmas it will pick up again in the spring. There were a lot of fixed price properties about pre xmas so Im asuming the same will happen in the spring.
X council property is good in your price bracket. Terraced 2 bed villas Clermiston/ Parkgrove are maybe a bit above your limit but are a good buy. Easter Drylaw is ok too.
Comley Bank as suggested above will be way above your price I think. You dont get anything in Edinburgh cheap ex rental or otherwise. Its still very much a rising market here. Especially at the lower end where rental yeilds are still high.0 -
Hi. I'm A) a newbie here and
Another southerner baffled and intimidated by the Scottish system!
I'm hoping to buy a flat in Edinburgh in the near future. All the previous posts have been very helpful. Just one quick question: In practice, does "fixed price" mean what it says? Or is it a code for some more complicated haggling?
Grateful for any tips!0 -
Fixed price is fixed, we lived in Scotland for 8 years and always sold and bought at fixed price........Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
