Free Phone From O2

Just so you all know; I followed these steps last week after it was posted on hotukdeals (now deleted). this isn't a 'pricing error' or 'deal' it's illegal. None of you will receive a phone and O2 WILL contact you about it.

Oh yeah, all of you will receive the following:

1. Thank you for your O2 order – email content (order number and details)
2. Important news about your O2 order - email content (passed to our warehouse for dispatch)
3. Your O2 Order Confirmation - email content (We regret to inform you that the items you have ordered from us are currently out of stock)
4. Phone call from O2

This thread should really be deleted btw.

oh, soooooo disappointing, I was getting all hopeful for this but mobile monkey's put paid to that xxx Wouldnt it be wonderful if, on tuesday we're all posting 'yipee'. Good luck one and all, lets wait til tuesday xx

If this was foiled last week, why is the page still coming up from the link?, surely 02 would have amended the site or whatever, ?

i just received a text from 02 giving a verification number for next time i log on the site, I didn't give them my number and I've never been an o2 customer, me thinks a bill along with the phone is in the post.......

That's the point, the link isn't from O2 it's a google cache. In other words it's an 'old' O2 page no longer in use. The correct O2 page is this one:

I think the verification num is just for your mob fone num to prove its yours? nowt to do with a bill is it?
