parking ticket forgotton to display disabled badge

Just wanted some thoughts on this please.
I have recieved a parking ticket (council) for parking in disabled bay & not displaying blue badge.. i have a blue badge as a disabled driver however i have some memory problems (part of my condtion) and I genuinly forgot to display.
I have appealled but because This is unfortunatly the third time i have done this in 12 months the council say i must pay.
Im wondering if i should appeal formally ?
I cant help forgetting ! in fact ive done well to only forget 3 times ! is it fair to put a limit on how many times i can forget ? obviously if i were doing this every week then there would be an issue if only the admin costs ! but thats not been the case ive had a badge for approx 5yrs & this is the 3rd time
any thoughts?
any idea of my chance of a successfull formal appeal in this case ?
thanks in advance

Post about your case, with a picture of the front & back of the PCN and a pic of the rejection letter, on pepipoo here:

There could be grounds for appeal you would never have thought of, that could win the case. Most people on that forum get off most PCNs.
HTHPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

why not leave your badge up in your window always. It wont matter when you dont need it and will be there when you do. The clock is another issue i know but you will have a badge up. hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
