Wheelchair ramp loan/hire

I've recently started a relationship with a man in a wheelchair, I would love for him to be able to come to my place instead of keep going to his, is there anywhere or charity that would be able to loan me a ramp to get in and out of the house? The step up to my front door is really steep, but apart from that, he'd be ok getting around indoors.
I have looked at buying one but they are very expensive!
