    Your Egg account should have been transferred to Barclaycard by now?

    Doesn't explain Santander though?

    When you say you're getting the numbers from the statements, don't you have the cards to hand?

    Sorry I did mean Barclays, only got the letter about the changeover today. I don't have the cards as I cut them up as I'm trying to pay them off so I got the ac no from the statements. Thanks
    Your Egg account has been closed, and a new card/card number assigned by Barclaycard.

    Have Santander 'closed' your account, in terms of new spending, and maybe that's why it's not recognised?

    Unfortunately it seems some card issuers are having problems doing balance transfer to the new Barclaycards that are replacing Egg cards.

    MBNA don't recognise the new Barclaycards, either.
