Fun photo editing?

Hi all

Just been to Tesco with the nephew and he spotted a photo editing programme, it was £20 which I thought was a bit much so I said I would try and find something at home. Don't want anything like photoshop or gimp. The thing he saw (forgot the name), let you add clipart and text and frames etc, also let you create a slide show to dvd and upload to youtube. Does anyone know of anything at a reasonable price, thinking maybe a tenner, either to download or order online. Thanks very much

Some versions of Windows already have photo to slideshow programmes

Another free option is Picasa, very easy to use. There is an option to make a movie for upload to youtube.

Aaargh - not what he wants! I think he has his heart set on the tesco one, even been on their website to find out what it was called so I could search for it. It's aimed mainly for kids with silly captions to put on and silly clip art etc, you could make greetings cards and frames. Found one called arcsoft software suite but it's not compatible with our computer
