Additional PPI account No's

Hello, another question for you good people. After reading the last letter from HSBC saying further delays, in regards to my PPI claim on a loan I had with them. I have noticed three personal protection plan numbers on the top of the letter. My question is this I only provided them with my loan account number because the loan has been paid off and so only had limited details, do these numbers actually mean anything such as internal ref for PPI claim, loan PPI claim etc or is it that they have put the actual PPI ref number on letter along with others they have found? I did have at least one other loan with them prior to the one I'm claiming and a credit card but didn't have details of these so never bothered to attempt any claims ( wasn't even sure if they had PPI on them or not) hope this question makes sense and any help is appreciated, thank you in advance

I suppose it would be nice if they have

Obviously I didnt want to assume this though. I have tried looking for what a typical HSBC personal loan protection number would look like ie set out.
Two of the numbers start of with the prefix FLPPLN********* and the third is KLPPLN***********, obviously the * are the numbers( account numbers presumably) just wondering if anyone could confirm, this or not. Cheers:)'If you ain't living life on the edge you are taking up too much room'

They look like different accounts to me !!.0

The FSA wants other cases to be reopened the same time when making a reclaim of other loans/credit cards taken out, so it looks very possible that they are doing this.

Ok, a quick update I have also posted on successes and failures thread. Anyway today my HSBC PPI claim which was upheld in Dec has been paid into my account today for approx £1500 which was quicker than i thought they would manage. Also for anyone else who ends up with random ref numbers all mine were for three previous loans that had been refinanced they had looked at these without any need for me to ask them to and as previously stated paid out on all the PPI paid on them all
I hope this story and anymore I will hopefully have in the future will encourage others to get their money back also!!! its about time the mis-deeds of the banks for are paid for!!:)'If you ain't living life on the edge you are taking up too much room'
