Advice wanted please
My other half booked tickets on the internet for a murder mystery evening, and part of the Ts & Cs was that there was no cancellation allowed.
The next day she decided she wanted to cancel and emailed them asking for a refund
5 days later and I'm preparing to email & write to them myself, stating that despite their Ts & Cs we had a seven day cancellation period as part of the distance selling regulations (DSR).
Am I right or am I missing an exclusion from the DSR?
All comments welcome EXCEPT for those stating that we shouldn't book things and then change our minds
Cheers

You are correct in that you are missing an exclusion.
Contracts for accommodation, transport, catering or leisure services, which are arranged for a specific time or date - for example, train, airline or concert tickets, or hotel bookings - are not covered by Distance Selling Regulations"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

Tickets such as this are specifically excluded from the DSR.

If you cannot cancel you could always still go? At least then you don't forfeit both the money and the meal!Thinking critically since 1996....0
