Reclaiming Lloyds standing order charge

Hi everyone,
I would really appreciate your advice on this. Today I've received a letter from Lloyds TSB stating that I did not have enough money in my account to pay a standing order and hence they are charging £10 for this. I had more than enough balance but not available balance. I know I'm at fault for not checking my available balance before the standing order is suppose to come out of my account.
As far as I'm aware of, the banks can claim only the losses they incurred. Do you think charging me £10 is fair or should I try to reclaim this charge?
Thanks in advance.
I have posted this before in reclaim bank charges but didn't get any replies yet. This is why I have posted my problem here.

If you ring them and speak to them nicely and its your first time they may give you it back.
If it's not your first time, you'll just have to suck it up I'm afraid.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
