in Credit cards
Hi!
I hope someone can help me. Last month I tried ordering an item from Lust and Passion, I entered my credit card details and clicked the submit button but the order would not go through so I tried again, it didn't work, so I tried another 2 times (four times total)...I eventually gave up.
I've checked my online statement and it says I have been charged £43.95 four times from that date! I use my credit card online rather than my debit after a HSBC member of staff told me that the credit cards are better protected for this. I tried ringing the company's contact number but it's a dead line and found their Wholesale company contact number too which went to voicemail after noone answering. Oh, and I didn't even receive an invoice or the item in the post. I'm just wondering if the card is DEFINITELY protected from this sort of thing (might be a dodgy company that I decided to buy from!) and I will get all of the money put back on the card? I hope the staff member wasn't just saying that to make me get a credit card with them.
Thanks,
Christie

Have never heard of this company and can't find anything by googling them either.0

Try speaking to your credit card bank and find out the terms - if it is a dodgy company they can investigate and get the money back for you.
When I had a problem with PayPal and someone stole money, my bank said they would be able to retrieve the money after an investigation if PayPal couldn't sort it.Thank you, to all those who make the comps forum, what it is.0 -
Thank you, I will call them!0
