So...

What are you asking for from Father Christmas this year? I am thinking more about asking for something I need rather than want, if you know what I mean?

Hmm maybe some fluffy slippers and a new purse as mine is falling to pieces.

Other than that I am pretty stuck so suggestions please, what do you want to find in your christmas stocking?

Oh crazyguy, you break my heart with such news.

mugwump79 - don't do it. For years I sufferd 'practical presents' from my ex husband. I now have a good man who spoils me at christmas. I do pratical all year round. I 'make do' and only buy what I need the rest of the year. For Christmas I want to be spoilt. New underwear, perfume, good bathroom treats, an expensive book I wouldn't normally buy, fluffy slippers, you get the gist. I don't want or need others to spend a fortune, but I would rather have treats than pratical.

  • Crazyguy, you know that's a lie! It must be . . . after all, you're just a crazy guy from la la land!!!!! lol
  • Every year Father Christmas always brings me slippers. I simply love them. I get fluffy funny ones and also some more sensible ones, but not too sensible. I would be devastated if they failed to appear.

This year i'm asking for a decent tin opener! I wouldn't dream of spending a lot on one so just buy the cheap butterfly ones, needless to say i'm for ever struggling to open anything, i'd also like new slippers as I've just gone through the soles in mine!

All my children in the same place at the same time and having a proper family day, i really look forward to christmas because having older/adult children everybody is always busy and we dont spend as much time as i would like being all together but i know they have their own lives to live thats why i love christmas
