What is the easiest way to get Chrome browser to run immediately on boot-up on a windows 7 sp1, 64 bit machine?

I am absolutely not sure, but can't you put it in the Startup folder of All Programs in the Start Menu.
I'm sure there are other ways too.0 -
You could also use task scheduler to schedule chrome to run on user login.P.I.C.N.I.C problem: Problem In Chair, Not In Computer0

I'd add it to the Startup folder in the Start menu for simplicity, but you could add it to the registry instead if you wanted. The following keys relate respectively to the user that is currently logged on, and all users on the machine:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
You just need to create a String value with any name (e.g. "Autostart Google Chrome" or whatever) and set the data field to the full path of the executable (e.g. "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe").0 -
Hi,
Thanks for your info.
Unfortunately, my computer knowledge is not so advanced.
Where do I find the Start folder on windows7?0 -
Click the Start button -> "All Programs" -> "Startup" is listed there. -> Right click and select Open.
Copy a shortcut to chrome there.-Scott-

Found startup folder and dragged a shortcut of Chrome to it.
Now Chrome boots up autostart and is immediately ready for use.
Many thanks for your guidance!0
