Thank you. My son suggested board games as an activity. I remember one of his home tutors used board games and jigsaws as a short activity to get him "switched on" to doing maths and english.
Music we are both rubbish at but it might be fun to try! And documentaries we need to investigate, he is not really interested in the natural history ones but there may be some that captures his imagination.0 -
As a teacher I use the 'Primary Resources' and 'Teaching Ideas' sites for ideas in all subject areas (sorry don't know how to do a link.) I also agree that board games are great, have you tried chess ? I also use the 'ICT games' site for fun literacy and numeracy games with my class.
Good Luck !0 -
Are you having input from the educational medical needs team in your area?
My daughter has chronic health conditions that caused her to miss most of her first and second year of school and got assigned a one to one teacher who could visit in hospital during admissions/at home during recovery and school for 1:1 sessions twice a week to catch up.
