Coldplay fan club

Hi, Does anyone know of an official Coldplay fanclub?
I've tried googling it but just get a load of fan forums.
The coldplay.com site just has a mailing register, unless that's what they call a fanclub!!
I'm hoping that fanclub members might get a priority for ticket sales. (A bit like Next with the card holders getting a sale preview)

Not many bands tend to have 'fanclubs' any more. If what you're after is a link to buy tickets before the general public, then usually this will be sent out via the mailing list, so I would sign up to that on the official website.

Something to bear in mind, though; there is usually a limited allocation of presale tickets available, and with a band as big as Coldplay, there's still no certainty of getting them. But they will probably go on sale a day before the general sale, so if miss out on the presale, you do get a second chance.

Also - and this is not aimed at you, but I have seen this issue crop up every time a big band does a huge tour. There will undoubtedly be a number of scam websites popping up for this. coldplaylive.com, coldplayticketsale.com. Think it through, if a band has an official website why would they set up a separate one to sell tickets? Use the official channels (linked from the main website), accept that it will not be cheap, and realise that there will be extra fees.

I believe the pre-sale tickets are getting offered to members of the football clubs which use the stadiums they are playing in (Sunderland, Arsenal, Man City & Coventry) so the best way to get pre-sale tickets is to try and find someone whom is a member of the football club.

Why do tickets still go on sale at 9am Fridays, when people are at work and could not have access to a PC? Plays right into the armchair touts greasy paws.

I'm already a member at SAFC so will try for seat tickets on the thursday, the stadium ticket office is only selling standing tickets and we're past standing in the scrush.
Got tickets for the Red Hot Chili Peppers quite easily, not as big an attraction as Colplay though.

Lucky you, made a lot of money this year buying tickets to resell at double the face value?

I don't see your point? What are you assuming?
