my local Aldi store dont mind a bit if you use a shopping trolley - just make sure you show the checkout person your trolley is empty! Ive seen people fill up boxes, baskets and carrier bags on thier way round. as long as you unload it all on the checkout they dont seem to have a problem!

Hi Kippers. I am on Sandhurst Rd. I love the market rarely get bad stuff but as I am on my own I usually get small amounts which get eaten very quickly lol. Yes, I do listen to Radio leic every morning whilst I am browsing on here, I love the Jim Davies slot.
regards Aldi, I will go down and ask the manager about it, sure it will be ok to leave my trolley near the check out as it will be empty anyway!
    Thanks for your reply.

Hi renegade, i live close to Dovelands Primary School so i'm not far from you. I usually pop up to the Aldi at Meridian as it only takes a couple of minutes in the car.

I've not really used the fish market before...is it any good?

I rarely use the market for veg as i have 3 allotments, however, on the rare occaisions i have used it, the fruit & veg i've bought hasn't been good at all. I'm sure there must be good stalls though but i just haven't found them.

    Leicester is a great city.
I love browsing round the market and the fish market is the best in the country IMO,easy to get to from where you are, straight down Market st cross the road go straight on the fish market entrance is on the left before you actually get into the market proper, hope you find it ok. Just ask me if you need to anything else about Leicester,I 'emigrated' here 50 years ago and would never go back to Hull.

iam from hull it's a very nice town

The shopping in Hull is absolutely horrendous, not fashionable at all, shops are scattered far and wide, it's a really downbeat place nothing going for it at all....IMHO.

I would recommend a stall run by the REID family, bought their fruit for years, lovely stuff..look for the name it is a green board.
Do Aldi Meridian sell clothes , they advertise clothes but they never have any at Woodgate, wondered how they compared to Primark.
