Hi can anyone gave me some help please, when I connect my pc to my stereo to play music I get alot of horrible noise through the speakers. I think its the fan etc that comes through. Any help and tips would be most appreciated thanks.

Can you tell us how you are connecting the two. (digital, analog?)
Are you using a dedicated sound card or is it the motherboard integrated one?
What sort of horrible noise is it? It is a crackling noise, a buzzing, or something else.
It would also help to know what you are trying to play through it - a movie, a game or just music (or all). And what program is playing it (Windows media player, winamp, etc)
You should try to play around with the settings on your computer for the sound card (volume, levels etc) as this can distort the output sometimes.
I would suggest setting the computer sound at a mid to low level and use the stereo to boost it. It does however depend on a number of things.'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'
