I'm in the same boat, as far as I'm aware issue one ends when the last payment is taken, this may not be a full 12 months from your first payment if you didn't make the first payment straight away after setting up the account.
If this is the case mine should finish at the end of Jan, so I will be attempting to set up the new one next week.
Will let you know how it goes.0 -
I suspect it will close 12 months after they opened the account, normally when you phoned them0

I opened my 10% Barclays regular saver on the day that the account launched on 16th February 2006. My last payment will be taken on the 1st Feb '07 and the account will mature on Friday 16th Feb. Around a week later I intend to open a new one before the offer ends on the 28th Feb.
As I opened my account at the earliest date possible, your account can't be maturing next week. You could check with Barclays the date it was opened on - not the date the first payment was made. It will mature exactly one year after that date. On maturity your account will be converted into an Easy Saver. Please call me 'Kazza'.0
