£67.50 is the amount for a single claimant on Income Based JSA or if a couple its contribution based for him alone.

It should be £105 for a couple on Income Based JSA?

I would call 0800 55 66 88 and put in a claim for Income Support as you are already on Incapacity benefit (Credits only) you might get it, or they may treat it as an Employment Support Allowance claim.

Both IB JSA & IB ESA are a full passport to full rent.

It's not possible for him to get IB JSA & you IB ESA at the same time but he can get CB JSA while you get IB ESA.

The extract from the link is way out of date and at times wrong?

Well, just getting back to this and thanks for all the replies...my letter to jobs and benefits resulted in a phone call from them today...I AM entitled to Income Support on health grounds and WILL get the disability premium (couples rate)...my hubby can either stay on his seperate JSA or we can do a joint claim for income support
...I asked what the difference would be and was told that he would no longer have to sign on and would get slightly more money on the joint income support claim...though if we do that, then hubby doesnt get any NI stamp paid ...does anyone have any experience of this?..He is still looking for work and we`re not too sure what way it would affect him in the future if he took a break in NI contributions...All seems a bit weird if you ask me!! must just be the way the system works..anyway, Im pleased to know that I will get my premium and income support either way and that I can be backpaid to when he got made redundant as I was mis-informed :))
