Hi hope someone on here can help me on this one. I have recently found a load of old videos and been given an old VCR which is still in A1 condition, and I want to copy some of these videos onto a DVD and some upload on to my laptop, can someone tell me how I can go about this easily and cheaply

CC limits £26000
Long term CC debt £0
Total low rate loan debt £3000
Almost debt free feeling, priceless.
Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

Plug in all the needed cables, Then just pretty much install the software if it comes with it, if not i think you'll have to download it. Press record on the software and play on the vcr.Peter: Hey Lois... what's this word? Lois: Evil. Peter: And this one? Lois: Knievel. Peter: And this one? Lois: Was. Peter: And this one? Lois: Born. I must admit I've had mixed results wih the capture devices like crampo has linked to. By all means try, as they're quite cheap but I've had quality issues and sound synch problems in the past.
You can't improve the quality either, they'll always only look as good as ( or slightly worse than) the original VHS recording.
If you have access to a stand alone DVD recorder, this is the best way IMO to get the best quality copy, although if they're commercial VHS tapes, you'll run into copy protect problems0
