need advice!
Hi, i have 2 personal loans, 1 with used to be alliance leicester roughly in april 2007 and 2nd one with barclays. I am sure i did not take ppi for barcalys, 90% sure i don have it for alliance leicester. I have been aproached by companies with no win no fee that still i might have a case ? need advice please

Ignore any companies - they are just after a cut of any payout you might get. Pull out your loan documents to see if you have any PPI - or if you have lost your loan agreements then have a read of this section of the forum to see how to find out if you had PPI and to consider whether you may have a claim for it being missold. Reclaim PPI & Other Insurance
If you do then all it will cost is a bit of time and a couple of quid in postage and you'll keep all of your repayment not lose 50% of so to these vulture companies.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
1 of the loans is about to end in 6 months time,ie started in 2007 to 2012, if i dont have ppi, i can not claim back anything else?0

I wouldn't be surprised. I used to regularly get calls from these sorts of companies telling me that I could claim back for mis-sold PPI or my endowment mortgage.
