Natwest acknowledgement confusion

I lodged a ppi mis-sell claim to natwest ( RBS) for my other half which was acknowledged in august, my calculation was a response due on 14th december.
Today we have received 3 further acknowledgements with 3 new Ppi claim numbers. We did ask for any previous loans rolled into the one that is still outstanding to be investigated as he has never had the subject discussed or explained etc, so wonered if this meant they had found 3 others and if so whether we will now have to wait 12 weeks from today to get an answer on these?
They are exactly the same standard acknowledgements with no account numbers quoted.
Any ideas??

Hi there
And yes it does seem to be the case, and its something that the FSA regulators etc wanted them to do, so basically if anyone have put in a reclaim on being mis sold the ppi, then it could have been the case of being mis sold ppi on other loan accounts.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Thanks so much for responding-do you think we'll have to wait another 12 weeks then, we were only 4 weeks away from a decision on the original claim.0

Hi and your welcome.
Hopefully no you will not be waiting another 12 weeks as you have already made a complaint and its possible they will go from that date, although it may take a little longer but hopefully not as long as 12 weeks, but maybe someone else will clarify on this.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Just a little update-decided in the end to call RBS regarding the 3 new acknowledgements received last week.
Got through on the freephone number after 3 minutes and spoke to a helpful woman who advised that the 3 new referenced ack letters did indeed relate to rolled-up loans, and that we woukdn't have to wait another 12 weeks as decision notices were sent on 11th November.
If that is true then this is 4 weeks ahead of the 16 week deadline for pre-August claims.
She wouldnt tell me the decision -not sure if this all means bad news!
Will let you know when we get them, this is our last claim now.0
