in Credit cards
As a bit of a background I currently have around £6000 at 0% for 9 months on Halifax One due to run out on 17th May, prior to this it was with MBNA for 9 months and prior to this it was with PC world Marbles for 9 months.
Both the PC World Marbles and MBNA credit cards have been cancelled.
I am now looking for my next preferably 9 months 0% period. However the only card i've found is A&L who i have a current account with. My concern here is that MBNA run the credit card for A&L, will they allow me another interest free period so soon?
Unless there are other 0% cards for 9 months out there, I have an application form for Capital One for 9 months @ 0% however the repayments are a bit high at 3% rather that 2% or 2.25%.
I would be grateful of any help and suggestions

I'd go for the A&L card (I had three MBNA cards at one time so they're not that fussy).
Given that you bank with them (not sure if they will use that?) coupled with having credit from MBNA before you should get a decent limit.
They may detect that you take advantage of offers, but then MBNA offer pretty good existing customer offers and had you kept the card you could have probably got a 0% deal (allbeit with a charge) as an existing customer in any case?0 -
Thanks for that reply makes me feel a bit better about MBNA i thought that may have been a problem0
