Nationwide transactions at Post Office branches

I understand that some Nationwide transactions can be carried out at Post Office branches.

We have a flex account, and wondered whether anyone knows which Nationwide transactions apply. Wondering whether a cheque can be paid into a Nationwide flex account at PO, and whether withdrawals can be made.

It seems that Nationwide deposits can not be made at PO branches unfortunately.

The only services available are balance enquires (which I do online), and cash withdrawals, I use local ATM machines.

Our nearest Nationwide branch is about 10 miles away, since local branch office was closed last year, and was wondering which Nationwide services would be available locally.

If what's missing is an easy way to pay in your cheques, open a Nationwide InvestDirect account. It only pays 0.2% but you can pay in by (free)post, and then transfer to other accounts online.
