They are great - Lisajane. I expect they will be able to hold plenty enough!

So I got my jars home and after careful consideration decided that using harribo to fill them was not the most brilliant idea I had since they would no doubt go sticky so I decided I would fill them with love hearts. I originally thought it would only hold 4 mini rolls but I underestimated their size, they hold 8 rolls.

So that's one more thing ticked off my list :D

Please let me know what they're like when they arrive :)

Hi - they are here (Fast delivery) and they are mega cute. If I were a kid I would be pleaesd. On the plus side they are tiny - about 2" high, so they wont hold too many sweets - good for my wallet and good for the kids as I will be annoyed if they fill up on sweets and don't eat their massive dinners!!

I will cobble one together with sweets and name flag and post it on if you want?

Wanchai, for you. They are just a bit of a mock up - I think the real ones will have gingham ribbon on the flags. They will also probably have mini eggs in as we are marrying the week before Easter!

I put some very small stones in the bottom - the kids can play at making mini stone sculptures when they are bored too! It is strangely addictive...

Thanks - very simple to do and pretty MSE. I bought the 'flag poles' in Sainsburys at the end of the summer, reduced in the bbq section to 39p! So I just need to keep an eye out for some cheap sweets!
