Oh, I love the little ivory heart buckets :) 95p each though = £95!!!! And that's presumably without the sweets!

    Really can't justify it.

Op you can use these where you get a personalised jar and fill it with sweets for £2.65 (including sweets)

I don't know how much your sweets would be as to whether this would be cheaper?

thanks 74jax. I'm not a hufe fan of rock, but it is a must really, at the seaside! I will have to fill them with other sweets - bonbons and many other old fashioned sweeties I think. Give them an education in sweets....

  • I saw ones like the picture in the pound shop and they were big ones too, either that clasp lid or screw on lids. I was tempted but don't think we want to spend anymore money on sweets and sweet buffets lol :)

These are little buckets at a cost of 69p each, although you have to buy 100................. Sorry kinda hijacked the thread, i'll get back to looking for jars :-)

Haha, I don't mind the hijacking, it's given me an idea. I might get some buckets and put coloured pencils in them with a pad of paper or colouring book for the younger ones for during the speeches. Plus it's good to know that my thread is helping other brides to be :)

What you can do for the rock, because this is what we are doing, is have their name put in it, or yours and the grooms and the date and have them cut into sweet sized pieces of rock?

Hi - another hijacker here - 74jax, where are you getting this from please?

Lisajane, glad you don't moind - it has been very helpful indeed. Thanks to 74 Jax I have now ordered 10 x yellow buckets and 10 x ivory ones for the kids at our wedding. I know they will love them - I will stick flags in with their names as well as sweets too. Buckets of crayons/paper is a great idea too - I'm going to roll up pictures for them to colour in and tie them with ribbon so they look like treasure maps!

    I love this site.

I found some little jars (approx 9cm high and 6cm diameter at widest point) in B&M for 59p each or 4 for £2. I got 4 to see how many sweets will fit in before I buy more.

I'm also going to get some for my daughter to take to school for the christmas fayre as they always ask for jars with sweets in.
