Hi, I now have some spare cash each month and I am now looking to invest for a long time 10+, I understand to get the best returns I need to go maximum risk and I am willing to do this, I am considering investing arounds £100 each month into stocks shares or Maxi isa's.
I bank with halifax and was considering there Share builder option which allows me to invest on set days each month for £1.50, is this the best option? Cash isa only offer 3% which I think is really poor, is the halifax share builder the best option?
Can I select a number of self select maxi isa and shares using share builder? also if possible I would like to make it fun and see the fund growing or shrinking every few days and not once a year in April.
What is the best advice for me in a way to move forward.
Keith

BEfore you invest, have you saved 6 months spending in cash? Have you educated yourslef by reading about investing? Learned thru websites such as the Motley Fool?

This is a good option for £100pm. Not sure what you mean by 'maxi isa' - open you S&S Isa and then decide what you want to buy within the isa with your sharebuilder option. For a white knuckle ride, this is probably not the best place for advice - try ADVFN or Interactive Investor boards - loads of young people buying small cap oil explorers and miners etc - big risks and big rewards/losses!I bank with halifax and was considering there Share builder option which allows me to invest on set days each month for £1.50, is this the best option?0
