Tesco/RBS/Ulsterbank do not want my money

Hi everyone

I recently won £100 on a scratchcard and rather than waste it, I thought I would pay off some of my Tesco cc bill. Went into Ulsterbank branch yesterday with a printout from my online statement and £100. However, the cashier would not take it as "we can only accept official statements/remittances when paying".

I have paid money off this cc in this manner a few times now, at this branch and others, with no problems. I know I can pay it into my own bank and then make a debit card payment, but its the hassle of queuing up in 2 busy bank branches at lunchtime, and it'll be tomorrow before I can get back in now anyway.

Has anyone else had this problem?
