I have decided not to try and get anyone to represent me but my wife will be there to support me. Can she answer any questions as I get very forgetful, scared of getting confused and missing any of the important points.

Hopefully you can reply and she will be allowed to fill in the bits that you've forgotton to tell them." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

have you approached any other body to represent you CAB or welfare rights?0

When I attended with my mum, the lawyer told me off for adding bits to her answers. I was only allowed to say something right at the end. The welfare rights advisor wasn't allowed to say anything until the end either.
I dont think that has changed.0 -

Same principle as the courts. Take a big note pad and couple of pens. Get your wife to write down what is being asked, then ask for a short chance to frame your answer and reply. That way you will be able to answer as you intend rather than off the cuff.0
