  • I guess Dad said that son had his permission to take the car. He should have said he hadn't permission and then son would have been done for taking a vehicle without owners consent and Dad would have been in the clear.

    Son is a liabilty. Anything less than a custodial sentence and, IMO, he has got away lightly.

    I think he should be banned, you shouldn't be on the road without insurance, road tax and a safe car. There is no excuse and he is putting lives at risk and risking causing misery.

  • They are lucky the car was not seized under s165 of the Road Traffic Act?!?!? As its his second time and of a youngish age excpect another ban and a MASSIVE fine!!
