Ah gorgeous hairdo, bet you looked fab!! I do like a bit of beehive action
:)Wanchai the tiara is stunning:)
I love the sound of hippyish hair with flowers in, but yesd I guess it will depend on your dress etc.
The hippyish hair would be very 'me', but my mum wants my hair at least partly up, and I can see how it may get messy/tatty if it's down all day, plus it may be a tad warm in July!
It wasn't me who posted the tiara
, I posted the Jenny Packham hair clip:

So back to your question Hadley1
- how do you like your hair? What makes you feel most confident/attractive? Have you spoken to a hairdresser? Are you going to wear a veil/hair clip etc? What's your dress like (if you have chosen it)? xx 7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs

Wanchai, I got my neice something very similar in Debenhams a couple of months ago. It looks totally gorgeous in her long blonde hair. It is a hairband, but the band part is thing so we will be able to hide it if she wants her hair up. MeganMay GC - £100 per week

A lot will depend on what you wear in your hair and if you choose to have a veil etc....
However you have it my advice would be to have a special look but not too dramatic that it doesnt look like you...you want to be able to recognise yourself in the photos....
Its always good to have a practise run with all your hair bits and bobs with the hairdresser beforehand and you can get quite a good idea from that...
I went to my practice run with the idea of floaty curls but once I saw it I hated it...and ended up with it all clipped up and off my face...not at all how I would have thought to wear it but it just looked right with the veil and the neckline of the dress.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Oooh, thanks! Must check it out. I can't afford £270 for the Jenny Packham one lol! :rotfl:
Although I was thinking of buying it second hand and then selling it on afterwards.7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs

Good point.
A friend of mine with straight hair wore it curly for her wedding day and it just looked all wrong. I think she just wanted to have it curled but didn't think about whether it would suit her.7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs
