MBNA freezing credit limits?

Requested a credit increase on my Amazon card but was refused. I was told that MBNA are not offering credit increases to anyone at the moment. Anyone else come across this?

    Quite the reverse - mine was increased almost 100%

    Maybe just me then. Don't know why as I have a good credit history. My current card hasnt been used for at least 6 months with a zero balance. Was trying to up it from £2300 to £3300 so not exactly asking for much.

    Nope, mine was increased by £5K in October without requesting it.
