It looks like everywhere is £20 or so, so not the massive saving that you were thinking but for under £7 it's great value.0 -

Went to Maplins in Coventry yesterday and they had two on the shelf. I bought one and tried it, yes its a cheap build but eh it works and its a very good price for what u get.
I previously got a wireless doorbell from Asda, that was fun, it used to go off whenever I locked/unlocked by car with my remote control keyfob.
Big thanks to the OP:hello:

Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.0 -
sorry to put a damper on it but I have just sent the 2 I purchased back. The range is nothing like the up to 50 metres it would not even do 30 metres outside across the garden with nothing between the unit and the push button. Probably o/k if you are only needing it for a short distance.
I am really disapointed so if anyone knows of a better one I would be interested. I am going to try the more expensive 100m one but I am not hopeful given the performance of this one.0 -
lowbrim, how about if u got kids or something, they are upstairs but never listen when u call them from downstairs, use that to attract their attention - its works well on short distances. :rotfl::hello:
