Picked mine up today (reserved it Friday), bloke who served me looked back on system after I said the website said it had been reduced by £60+. Traced it back as far as when it came in and the most it has been is £19.99. Still, well pleased with, installed and working in a few mins.

    I guess you mean Lidl's.

Must be a regional offer, none listed at my store.

Do they have a Weather Station, Clock. Calendar, built in like the Maplin ones?

It's £3.99 and to say it's similar is a bit like saying a Lada Riva is similar to a BMW X5. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good price but it's a basic wireless door chime whereas the Maplin one is not, err, basic. Horses for courses.

Anyone have any more pics/details on this item as the link does not show any info. I want to pop into the local store to see if they still have any, but need to know what I'm looking for.

Not sure if the following link will work - but if you go to google and seach maplin weather doorbell - then click the link 'cached' this will show you the product.

The google cache wil only show you a stored version of the page. It will not let you order it as the page is no longer valid on Maplin's site.

Seems this may be time to move this thread to the 'Gone but was it any good' board!
