Nationwide box scheme??

Hiya,

I know there are already threads on this but after spending all morning searching (both on here and other sites) i am unable to find any scheme that delivers to Scunthorpe. Does anyone know of one that delivers nationwide?? I am really wanting to try one of these but finding one is proving to be a nightmare! All big barn is throwing up is a local farm shop (which i have to say is fantastic!) and i have emailed them but unfortuantely they do not deliver. As i don;t drive it makes shopping there a nightmare as it is just outside town.

Any help is really appreciated!

Hmm... not even able and cole, who are national, deliver in your area yet!

However, they say they expect to soon, so if you visit their home page and do the "Do we deliver in your area?" thing, you can leave your details with them so that they can notify you...

I googled earlier too and unfortunatly no one delivers here that that google kicks up. Just keeps mentioning the farm shop near by.

I am however going to a farmers market on saturday so im wondering if there may be something there?? We shall see!

Have you tried Farmaround North? They deliver to me, and you're not so far away. Put your postcode into the web site, and it will tell you if they deliver.

Sadly, the much loved Love Food closed down last year. It was run by friends of mine, and I used it loads. It's sadly missed.

I presume you've tried the Pink Pig at Holme then? I went there just after Christmas with my mum (my parents don't live too far away from you) and I'm SURE that something was mentioned about a box scheme. Not living there now, I didn't really pick up any info, but I was sure I saw something. Then again, I was probably going mad after the divine bacon sarnie that I'd just had there!

That is the farm shop i was talking about...lovely isn't it! I emailed them a couple of months ago and they said they didn't do one. Might try ringing them tomorrow see if they do now.

There's one a bit further south, just outside Kirton Lindsey called "Uncle Henry's". They've just opened last Autumn, but it might be worth asking. However, they're not specifically organic.

Have you tried the Rustic sausages from the Pink Pig? Mmmmmmmmmm, MMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm, yum.
