NTL changer

I've had NTL for a number of years now without any major problems. Over the weekend I was trying to check the mini guide by pressing TV on the remote control and instead of bringing up the mini guide the chanel was changed. I then tried to change the volume on the set but instead the chanel on the TV changed. I've not changed anything in or around the box for months. I did ring NTL and they sent me a new changer which has sorted the problem of the box changing chanels but not the volume. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a way to fix it.

Thanks.

When we had our current set-top box installed, the NTL engineer programmed the handset so the volume control changed the TV volume, but I did not like that and he re-programmed it so the output volume from the NTL box would change instead.

That was until a few months ago when this function stopped working for no apparent reason. I could ring up NTL and ask them to fix it but simply haven't bothered as it's not a major issue to me.

Otherwise it's all working fine for me.
