NTL changer

I've had NTL for a number of years now without any major problems. Over the weekend I was trying to check the mini guide by pressing TV on the remote control and instead of bringing up the mini guide the chanel was changed. I then tried to change the volume on the set but instead the chanel on the TV changed. I've not changed anything in or around the box for months. I did ring NTL and they sent me a new changer which has sorted the problem of the box changing chanels but not the volume. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a way to fix it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Our mini guide has'nt worked right for a few weeks now. Load of rubbish. (NTL) I am going to have to write to Richard!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

When we had our current set-top box installed, the NTL engineer programmed the handset so the volume control changed the TV volume, but I did not like that and he re-programmed it so the output volume from the NTL box would change instead.
That was until a few months ago when this function stopped working for no apparent reason. I could ring up NTL and ask them to fix it but simply haven't bothered as it's not a major issue to me.
Otherwise it's all working fine for me.0 -
some remote controls do odd things when the batteries are low.Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..
