Is O2 down?

Haven't been able to send or recieve calls for a couple of hours even though showing full signal

    Its working fine on our department mobile which is o2.

    Maybe try taking the battery out of your phone and put back in.. give it a "reset"?

    No idea, we use O2 for our company mobiles and I'm sure I had a mail in the week saying O2 were making some changes to do with 3G which meant some areas may not have a signal for a short time. However I though all of this was happening over the weekend and not today.

    Very unlikely O2 is 'down', more likely a localised problem or an issue with your phone. Is anyone else on O2 near you?

    Ah...Part of the network is down the O2 customer service voice tells me.

    it does bug me that there isn't a page on their website for this info

    Just posting in case anyone else is having problems.
