hi i brought 2 sofas from argos, sept last year, 3 springs have gone in the one seat over the last 3 weeks, do i have any rights?

Do you mean Argos and bought? If it is Argos I'd be surprised if it's a sprung sofa. After 6 months you need a report saying it's an inherent fault to get anywhere. Try contacting Argos and see what they say.0 -

Do you mean september 2010? So 14 months - you could ask but I would think after 14 months you'll be lucky. Did it come with a warantee?1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31

A sofa, bought in a chain store shuch as Argos, should last longer than fourteen months. The SOGA says that goods should be of satisfactory quality and last a reasonable amount of time. Fourteen months is not a reasonable amount of time.
As mentioned before, after six months it will be up to the buyer to prove the goods did not perform to contract. If this is possible, Argos is under the obligation to either repair, refund or replace.
