Kindle Keyboard 3G & Wi-Fi

I'm considering purchasing a refurbished Kindle Keyboard with 3G & Wi-Fi. On this site it states
"The 3G version of the Kindle Keyboards also allows free web browsing when you're abroad, even when you're not connected to wi-fi."
I'm not exactly sure what this means. Am I correct in saying I can only surf the Amazon site for e-books etc. and it does not have the capacity to allow me to surf any website I wish? Am I also correct in saying it cannot surf the web in this country except for the Amazon site?

No it can surf any very basic site, ie no flash or other media will display, anywhere it can pick up the 3G signal. When I was in the Canaries earlier this year I could use mine to surf facebook, three of my email accounts and a handful of news websites - albeit very slowly! The Kindle itself has a list of book marks which it can view which include things like wikipedia, bbc news, amazon, google etc.It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
