I have it an a corner so viewing angle isn't a issue for me but if I turn it flat to the wall and look from the side I can see it clearly from almost side on certainly way way better than my old lcd. What basis do they check viewing angle on?30+ years working in banking0 -
Well have braved it and bought one of these today. Particularly wanted a silver model so this swung it for me. Picture quality seemed good in shop but I'm no expert. Waiting for my daughter and boyfriend to set it up!0

The only prob with this TV searching around is picture quality, spend a couple of extra quid and get a samsung, I recon they're worth it!0

I have a samsung led backlit also in another room and the Toshiba picture quality seems just as good if not better.30+ years working in banking0 -
I bought this tv from currys and can say im very happy with it. Great picture and sound easy to set up and superslim nice design. Also took out "whatever happens" cover with currys for £4.50 a month. I know there are no reviews on this TV as yet but so far so good, would reccommend. :j0

TV arrived today picture is fine easy to tune (stand a bit fiddly to fit).
Downside not enough SCART (can use and adapter), No wire speaker outputs, not enough HDMI (can use an adapter) but then for the price not that bad in reality.
Personally i think it is everything I expect of a Toshiba and all my TV's in the last 30 years have been Toshiba's, have bought others for other people and this is reasonable in my view.
Had it delivered so that they took away my old 36" CRT TV which was barking heavy sadly the Blue-Ray DVD not delivered at the same time and I will be out at work when they plan to deliver that. So I now have a spare remote which I can use on my small Toshiba in the bedroom and some satellite speakers from the surround sound.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
Be interested to know what people think of the sound, I have a Samsung Smart LED and the sound was appalling. Now wired up to external speakers but many reviews on these cheaper end tvs always criticise the sound. Also the dongle was a waste of money for me because it is so slow streaming (yes I know it will be my connection) but now hard wiring.0

The sound is very good on the tv - I tried it without before I added the soundbar. I do find it slow to change channels when on freeview but will not be using this most of the time. Also it does not pause/record the freewire even with a harddrive added which my other tv's do.
Had no success with configuring it for internet/smart tv stuff yet so if anyone has managed that would love some advice.30+ years working in banking0
