Hi
I received a letter from a debt recovery agency this morning asking for £29.97 from NTL, I have never had NTL ask me for this and pay all my bills to them by DD, called NTL on hold 40 mins, the guy cant help me says nothing wrong with my account, puts me throught o someone else, and conveniently cuts me off, I call back on hold 20m ins, spk to another lady who cant help who puts me through to someone else, hold again 20 mins, she says at credit control there is nothing wrong with my account and I have to call the debt collection agency myself as they wont listen to her............aaaaaaaaaaagh I cant get through to the agency it is permanently engaged, what do I do now as i dont want my credit record blemished by NTL I am about to move house and this will not look good on my records.

Get NTL to write to you confirming your account is not in arrears (email them) and then send a copy of this to the debt collection agency or try and phone them again and get the details of the problems.0
